Skyler Vulchev here and I've been in the gym since I was 3. My mom was a coach at the gym and I started jumping in classes and found that I really enjoyed it and my love for the sport began to grow. The coaches in the gym noticed my talent and by age 7 I started competing. At level 8 going into level 9 I was out for a couple of years due to injuries, one year 2 fractures in my foot, one through my growth plate. Another year had an avulsion fracture in my other foot. I did try to compete a couple of meets, and only 1 or 2 events in level 9 for 2 years to keep the competitive side of me in while trying to fully recover. I started to get stronger on bars due to my injuries and now starting to throw bigger skills, bars maybe starting to be my best event. Currently, I am training hard and have more determination than ever. My goal is to have a great level 9 season while preparing myself for level 10 the following season.
