My gymnastics career began at the age of 3 when my mother signed me up for a preschool class at WOGA in Plano, Texas because I was constantly flipping , dancing, and climbing on things. Soon after that first class, I was invited to advanced classes and began team training at the age of 5. My first competition was Level 3 WOGA Classic in February 2013 at the age of 6. I placed 2nd on vault, 3rd on bars, and 4th All Around at my first Texas State Competition and I was hooked. The following year I placed 3rd All Around at the Level 4 Texas State Championships. I competed Level 5 compulsory and Level 7 optionals in 2016. In 2017, Level 8 was an exciting season scoring 9.850 on bars and 9.625 on beam and hitting my goal of 38.2 at City of Lights Invitational in February 2017. After missing last season with an injury, Level 9 has been a lot of fun! I placed 3rd AA at Kim Zimeskals Prime Meet which qualified me to be a part of the 2019 Legends Classic where my team placed 2nd. Next, I won the Level 9 JrA division at the Biles Classic. We just completed the Texas State Level 9 competition where I placed 1st on vault and bars and 2nd AA. I am so blessed to be back doing what I love. Update: I had a great Region 3 meet where I placed 1st AA with 3rd vault, 1st bars, 3rd beam, and 4th floor. at Westerns I placed 6th AA with 2nd on bars and 8th on floor. I am so excited to get back to training level 10.
