Mykah Jamal Beroid is a 5-year-old gymnast from Columbia, Maryland. He is a natural athlete who enjoys gymnastics, running, and soccer. When he’s not training, Mykah loves being outdoors, flying his drone, and playing video games. His energy, determination, and love for sports make him a standout young gymnast.

My Goals
  • Build body awareness — understanding how their body moves, balances, and lands safely. Improve coordination — linking arms, legs, and core together during simple skills. Develop strength naturally — through play-based conditioning like animal walks, hanging, and jumping. Increase flexibility — gentle stretching, learning safe positions, and improving range of motion. Learn to follow directions — listening to coaches, taking turns, and staying focused in short bursts. Grow confidence — celebrating small wins, trying new skills, and feeling proud of progress.
My Accomplishments
  • Mastering basic gymnastics skills. Holding a supported handstand or handstand against the wall. Swinging on bars with proper grip and straight arms. Improving flexibility. Learning safe landings and strong finishing poses.
Some of My Favorite Things
  • When Mykah isn’t flipping in the gym, he’s fishing with his dad, racing around outside, helping in the kitchen, being an awesome big brother, or playing video games.
Fun Facts About Me
  • With both parents from Southwest Louisiana, Mykah grew up loving Cajun flavors and enjoys trying new dishes from his family’s culture.
