Networking with ProScore and Publishing to MeetScoresOnline
If you are running ProScore Scoregen and/or iPads connected over your internal network with a router and are not able to publish to MSO because you do not know how to also connect to the internet, please follow the below instructions. You wil be setting up a static IP address from your PC to your router to do this.
Required: You will need to be hardwired to the router you are using internally to run ProScore scoreboards and iPads and you will need a secondary wireless hotspot or wireless access with internet access to connect to.
Instructions On Your PC
- In Windows
- CLICK - WINDOWS KEY | SETTINGS
You should see this
- Under Network & Internet
- CLICK - Ethernet
You should see this
- Under Related settings
- CLICK - Change adapter options
You should see this
- REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR WIFI and ETHERNET CONNECTIONS
NOTE: WIFI METRIC IS 10, ETHERNET METRIC IS 20 - RIGHT CLICK - the connection
- CLICK - Properties
You should see something like this
BEFORE CONTINUING, PLEASE TAKE A SNAPSHOT OR WRITE DOWN YOUR EXISTING SETTINGS. YOU WILL NEED TO
RESTORE THESE SETTING IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY ISSUE WITH THESE CHANGES.
- CLICK - Advanced
You should see this
- UNCHECK - Automatic metric
- INPUT METRIC - type in correct metric as mentioned above
- CLICK - OK
This completes the setup! Now try to connecting to your local wireless network and test both the internet and ProScore. If you have any issues, please seek additional support by from an IT expert!
