My Biography

Hi! My name is Julianna Ratkowski and I am a 2nd year Level 10 gymnast at Altius Gymnastics Academy. I am also currently a junior in high school, where I prioritize my grades to maintain a GPA of 3.5. I am represented by Vicki Hicks Consulting (@vicki.jhicksconsulting). My Goals

To compete for a D1 gymnastics college program, and compete in all-around.

My Accomplishments

Level 10 State and Regional Qualifier 2021 & 2022
Level 10 State 1st Place Bars Champion, 4th Place Floor, 4th Place All-Around 2022
2x Level 9 National Qualifier 2018 & 2019- Medaling in Beam and Vault 2019
Earned the Pioneer Award in 2018 for being the first gymnast at Altius Gymnastics Academy to qualify for the National Championships

Bars: Bail HS, toe shoot, double layout dismount
Beam: BHS layout step out series, switch leap switch half, full turn, split jump back tuck, cat leap front ariel, BHS 1 ½ dismount
Floor: Double back, front HS front whip front full, back 1 ½ twist, double turn, switch leap switch half split full
My list of upgrades includes- Vault: Yurchanko half, full, and 1 ½. Bars: Blind jaeger, full pirouette. Beam: Switch leap switch half back tuck connection, round off 1 ½ dismount, BHS lay step lay step series. Floor: Double layout, front HS front whip 1 ½ twist, back 2 ½ twist, back triple twist, triple turn, switch leap-switch split jump full (dance).

Fun Facts About Me

Since turning 16 I have been completely responsible for paying all of my gymnastics tuition, competition fees, leotards, etc. Therefore, I work two jobs as a youth gymnastics coach and mentor at my gym, as well as waitressing at a formal restaurant on the weekends.
I have been a part of my high school's competitive show choir since freshman year.
I enjoy baking and cooking for my family and trying out new recipes.
