I started at Gymnastics Unlimited in the preschool program when I was 5 years old. I was switched over to the Profile Team after several months. I then moved on to Level 4 (then the introductory compulsory level). As I started Optionals Level 7, I suffered a stress fracture on my heel as well as starting to feel the effects Sever's Disease. Fortunately, I was healed in time for the competitive season. This year, I started on my Level 9 journey. I started out pretty strong and getting better and then during the Winterfest Colorado Competition, I hurt my shoulder. I had a very rough competition at our out-of-state competition, the Gasparilla Classic 2018. I found out that I have an occult fracture on my growth plate in my shoulder. Although I qualified for State Competition, I was unable to compete. I continue to condition (except for my shoulder) until the ortho releases me.
