Jordan Barboza is a Level 5 gymnast training at Gymnastics Olympica USA. He started developmental gymnastics training in Miami, FL at Florida Gymnastics Training Center (Coach Jorge Valdez). In the summer of 2021 he moved to California due to his father’s military job. He competed in his first 2 competitive seasons for Liberty Gymnastics Training Center under Coach Eric Totman and his mother Diana Barboza. At age 5, he WON the Level 3 Northern California Boys State Championship (March 6, 2022, Emeryville CA) with the highest All-Around score of all ages. He also received 1st place on High Bar, Parallel Bars, Floor Exercise and Still Rings. In the fall of 2022, he was selected to participate at Region 1 Future Stars in Reno and achieved the highest possible score in Trampoline. In 2023 he started his Level 4 season at Cal Benefit Cup and won the All-Around title along with 1st place on high bar, pommel horse and parallel bars! In April 2023 at Region 1 Men’s Gymnastics Championship, in Reno, he won the All-Around title (L4) in his age group and scored the 2nd highest overall score out 188 kids, as 7 years old. He also had the highest score achieved on Still Rings! He placed first on High Bar, Parallel Bars, Still Rings and Floor Exercise! His All-Star Team of Norther California placed 2nd. In the summer of 2023, Jordan moved to the suburb of Los Angeles, and he is competing for Gymnastics Olympica USA. As he was still 7 years old, when he won the 2024 Southern California State Championship (L5) and qualified to Regionals as no.1 member of the SoCal All Start Team. At age 8, in 2024 April at Region 1 Championships (Mesa, AZ) he place 1st on parallel bars with the highest score of all ages and 1st on still rings. His helped placed 1st his All Star Team from Southern California.
