I started gymnastics when I was 2 years old with a mom and me class and never looked back, even though I am always the smallest gymnast on the team, it has become my passion and joy. I trained for 8 years at Riverview Gymnastic Center with the Flipateers Team in Newport News, Va. going from Super Kids to Level 4 -5 Compulsory, then onto Optional's Level 6 with the Flipateers. I competed Level 7 at Triple T in Suffolk Va. with the same coaches from Flipateers Jami and Loni whom I have had since the day I started my first competition at 6 years old Level 4 , skipping Level 3.
I am currently training at World Class Gymnastics for Level 8. We train for about 32 hours in the summer and 25 hours a week during the school year . My current coaches are Mary and Rex.
I am in the 5 grade at Yates Elementary in the TAG program with A or A/B honor roll. I have been on the A/B honor roll 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th grade. So looking forward to attending Middle School for 2017-2018 year.
When I am not in the gym or attending school my favorite things to do is Aerials Silks. Casted in The Tarzan play at the Williamsburg Theatre this was a highlight to show off my gymnastic skills as a monkey with Silks performing show stopping aerials in mid air!!! Theatre has captured my heart too.
