Grace Marra

Grace began gymnastics at the age of 3 in a recreational class just to learn basic skills and keep her busy while her brother was in school. She caught on fast and loved what she was learning. She was quickly identified by the team coach and was asked to join the USAG team at 5 years old. Grace has been trained by Matt Towers ever since and her love for the sport has grown tremendously. Grace was a level 9 Regional qualifier from 2016-2019, an Eastern Championship alternate 2016-2018 and a National Qualifier 2018-2019. In 2017-18 she was 2nd place Vault at the NYS Championship and 3rd place Beam at Level 9 Regionals. In 2018-19 Grace was the NYS Beam Champion and placed 2nd in the All Around. She then placed 3rd on Vault and Floor,and 4th place AA at Regionals and qualified for Eastern Nationals. At the 2018-19 Eastern Nationals Grace took 4th place on Beam. Grace trains 20 hours per week at Towers Gymnastics in Holbrook, NY under coach/owner Matt Towers. She is working hard to upgrade her level 10 skills and her long term goal is to join a Division I team in college.
