I began gymnastics when I was 3 years old. My first experience with gymnastics was at 1st Class in Maryland taking recreational classes. When I was 5, I switched to a gym close to home and started competing level 4 at the age of 6. When I was 7 I switched to Win Win gymnastics in Odenton and competed levels 5, 6 and 7. In 2014 I ended up back at 1st Class for my level 8,9 and first season of level 10. Last season I switched gyms once more and now train at 1st State Gymnastics in Delaware as a second year level 10. In 2016-2017 I competed HOPES Optional and level 10 and qualified to the HOPES Championships in Chicago and the Level 10 JO National Championships where I won gold on the uneven bars. This season I qualified to the Level 10 Regional Championships and JO National Championships again and this time I brought home a silver medal on bars and an All-Around high score for this competition. In January I qualified Junior Elite and went to the American Classic in July where I qualified to the US Championships in August. I am excited to continue my gymnastics career as a Junior Elite and will miss competing as a level 10. My dream is to go to the Olympics and I am one step closer! I love gymnastics so much and hope to continue to improve and be the best elite gymnast I can be!
