Ashlee started gymnastics in a mom and tot class when she was 18 months old. Full of energy and never afraid to try something new, she quickly advanced and started competing Level 3 at age 6 with Texas Champion Gymnastics. She won 2nd All Around at North State. She then competed Level 4 and qualified for State. Coaches Anatoli Toropov and Gelena Helen Verucchi saw potential for advancement and started training her. In March 2015, she competed one meet during off season for Level 5, skipped Level 6, and started training Level 7. While in Level 7, Ashlee achieved Texas State Champion on Vault, Bars and All Around. After the season, although she loved her coaches, she decided to change gyms. She realized that gymnastics was something she wanted to pursue seriously and decided to set her goal for elite. Ashlee was lucky to find the perfect fit at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA). The moment she stepped into the gym she was mesmerized by seeing past Olympians on the wall that had trained there. It was then that she realized her dream could truly become a reality with the help of the best coaches: Egor Grebenkova, Megan Haught and Nataliya Marakova.
Her Level 8 season was the best by far. She scored her first 10.0 on bars at the City of Lights Invitational in Orlando, Florida and obtained the title Texas State Champion on Bars, Floor and All Around with a 39.000. Unfortunately, at Regionals, she rolled her ankle during her floor routine and was unable to continue competing. In 2018, Ashlee started her level 9 season at the California Grand Invitational where she won 1st on Bars; Texas Prime, 1st on Beam and 2nd AA; Buckeye Classic, 1st on Vault, Beam and Floor and 1st AA; WOGA Classic, 1st Vault Bars and 2nd AA. Due to an injury, she was unable to attend Texas State Championship and petitioned into Region 3 where she won silver on bars.
After her level 9 season, Ashlee was selected to travel to Netherlands to compete at the International Ascension Gymnastics Competition with her WOGA teammates. Team WOGA took home gold. A week later, she completed in the Auburn National Elite qualifier. She earned her HOPES score for compulsory and optional. She is currently training for the 2018 HOPES Classic in Salt Lake City, Utah.
